Description The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible
for providing support to the Product Management and Sales and
Marketing departments to promote the company's products and
services. Under supervision of the Marketing Manager the employee
will help to increase brand/company awareness through promotional
materials and media outlets, maintain, compile, format and report
information on diagnostic products, companies, and sales metrics,
as well as work on other marketing efforts for current and new
products. This position works directly with the Sales and Business
development teams to assist in all phases of the product support,
launch and promotion. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist in
the development of marketing strategies and promotional material
for new and existing products. Prepare mailers and brochures by
formatting content and graphics as well as arranging for printing
services. Send or deliver marketing materials or technical
documents to customers upon request of Technical Product
Specialists. Advertise the company/products and increase company
presence through social media, professional platforms, press
releases, newsletters, and other outlets. Assist in planning for,
support and attend industry trade shows and conferences. Monitor
the company website and social media pages, respond to customer
queries. Follow up on leads generated by web-based advertising,
trade shows, partners, etc. Regularly compile, format, and
distribute data for sales metrics and marketing reports. Gather,
format, and summarize information, data, and trends relating to
diagnostic products and companies, utilize marketing tracking and
research. Update competitor database with data from field sales,
generate competitor analyses. Assemble quotations, proposals,
videos, slide shows, demonstrations and booklets for sales
presentations. Maintain marketing library by checking and
replenishing inventory. Assist with field sales reporting and CRM
system maintenance. Assist with account management and development
of customer accounts. Ensure proper documentation occurs throughout
product launch and sales processes (general communication,
opportunity status, customer profile, quotes and contracts).
Provide support to the Sales team as needed throughout the sales
process. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications Education/Experience Bachelor's degree - business,
marketing, graphic design, or scientific related field preferred
Previous experience working in a similar environment preferred
Computer Skills Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and
Outlook Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox Must
be willing and able to learn other software programs as needed
Knowledge, Skills, And Other Abilities Required Use basic office
equipment such as computers, copiers, scanners, faxes, etc.
Excellent organizational skills Excellent verbal and written
communication, listening, and presentation skills Must be able to
effectively and accurately report information Excellent time
management skills Ability to respond effectively to changing

partners, and customers Preferred Basic understanding of marketing
and financial principles, processes, and procedures Knowledge of
FDA Quality System Regulations (cGMP) and International Standards
(ISO & IVDR) pertaining to medical devices Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in
standardized situations Ability to collect and analyze data and
draw valid conclusions Math Ability Ability to add, subtract,
multiply, and divide in all units of measure Ability to compute
ratios, percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs Ability to
work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical
