Title: Mobile Mechanic Location: Northern California (based in Vacaville) Company: Citadel Roofing and Solar is a well-established fast growing fully integrated roofing, solar, and energy storage company with more than 30 years of contracting experience. We maintain a stellar reputation of service excellence to new construction homebuilders, commercial building owners, and homeowners throughout Northern, Central, and Southern California. In all cases, reliable execution and customer service are at the heart of our operations. We are looking for a mechanic to service and maintain our fleet of forklifts, reach lifts and other equipment. This is a full-time position based in Vacaville, however, this position will travel where our equipment needs you (throughout Northern California). We have an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable Mobile Mechanic to join our team! Job Responsibilities: - Travel to locations to perform on-site routine maintenance. - Communicate effectively, providing detailed breakdowns of service requirements and costs. - Mechanic tasks may entail oil changes, filter replacements, etc. - Maintain the company's equipment and van, keeping it in excellent working condition and cleanliness. - Adhere to all safety protocols and report any hazardous conditions to management. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Ability to perform physical tasks, like lifting heavy equipment or working in uncomfortable positions for extended periods. - A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to travel independently. - The ability to explain complex mechanical issues in layman's terms. - A problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail.
