The position requires the ability to work with supply chain, engineering, finance, and legal teams as well as contract manufacturers and suppliers. The position also requires strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills, negotiation skills, and the ability to operate in a dynamic environment on multiple projects with competing or changing priorities.What you will do:

• Working as a key member of the sourcing team, with focus on defined Sourcing Category Management and complex supply chain projects
• Development and implementation of sourcing category strategies and initiatives considering factors such as business requirements, quality, cost, lead times, and supplier capabilities for components (including battery, packaging, or other categories as assigned)
• Monitoring market trends and technological advancements in the supplier landscape and providing recommendations to leverage them for the benefit of Oura products
• Identifying evaluating, onboarding and contracting new suppliers that can provide the most competitive components and technologies required for Oura products
• Conducting regular supplier performance evaluations and audits to assess quality, delivery, and overall supplier capabilities and performance
• Negotiating all commercial agreements with suppliers, including unit pricing, NRE, CapEx, contracts, and E&O liability
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier information, pricing, contracts, and performance metrics in agreed company systems
• Should cost modeling and benchmarking for parts and assemblies
• Collaboration with engineering teams to define and communicate technical specifications and requirements to suppliers
• Working closely with engineering and operations to ensure the availability of mechanical components and materials to meet development and production schedules. Make purchase orders for prototyping and mass production as required
• Identification and mitigation of potential supply chain risks by implementing appropriate risk management strategies and contingency plans
• Participation in the continuous development of Oura sourcing working practicesThis is a hybrid role, the candidate should be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to come into the San Francisco office 2-3 days per week.We would love to have you on our team if you have:
  • Must have 5+ years of experience working in a Sourcing Manager or Supply Management role in consumer electronics
  • Must have 3+ years of experience working in a fast-paced NPI development environment
  • Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking and strategic negotiation across cross-functional initiatives
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver complex programs under accelerated timelines
  • Skilled in proactive problem-solving and effective issue resolution in high-pressure environments
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation capabilities tailored to diverse audiences
  • Adept at influencing stakeholders and driving alignment across matrixed organizational structures

US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area.
