Overview:Mental Health TherapistSalary: $80,000 - $90,000 Per Year DOEFull-Time, On-siteWe are looking for a skilled and empathetic adolescent mental health therapist that wants to make a difference and be part of an amazing and growing team located in San Martin, CA, just outside of San Jose.About usJoin us at Embark at our Short-term Residential Treatment Program in San Martin, where therapists offer guidance and support to adolescents and their families that include multi-modal family system approaches to amplify and solidify change.Serving teen girls and boys (gender fluid) ages 12 17, experiencing and struggling with school refusal, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal ideation and other mental health issues. Pre-teens and teens reside at our Residential Treatment Center in our comfortable family-style residence, where community and interpersonal relationships are fostered and encouraged.At Embark Behavioral Health, therapists will be advocating for client and family care through strong assessments and treatment planning, ongoing progress monitoring with detailed case management, community-based support, and robust aftercare planning.Comprehensive Mastery Program:Completing phase 1 - $4K increaseCompleting phase 2 - $4k increaseCompleting phase 3 - $5k increaseCEU of $1500.License Renewal.Responsibilities:Managing an average caseload size of six (6) clients; we believe allows for you to build good rapport with clients and families for effective treatment and outcome resultsProvide individual, family and group therapyParent coachingCase management and team managementCrisis management/ de-escalationTreatment planningUtilize assessment toolsUtilization reviewDocumentation in our electronic medical recordSalaried position, will share on call dutiesQualifications:Required:CA Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD) OR Registered with the CA board as an Associate, and in process of obtaining clinical hours toward licensure in the given fieldDesire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.Desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapyAbility to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.Ability to pass a state background check and drug testCandidates must be prepared to establish a CAQH profile and obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) as part of the onboarding process.Preferred:Two (2) years of working experience as a therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessionsOne year of experience working in a high acuity setting (intensive out-patient, residential, psychiatric hospital, eating disorder clinic, substance abuse clinic, etc., using relational, experiential, and systemic modalitiesFor associate therapists (prefer 1000 hours completed), but not requiredBenefits:Access to professional growth using our leading-edge strategies and trainings with our exceptional leadersOpportunity to foster relationships with adolescents and their families, create joy in their lives, and heal generations.Join a team of nationally recognized industry leaders who provide you with a framework of training, support, and long-term advancement opportunities.Embark and team members embrace the core values of empathy, trusting relationships, service, growth, and results.Comprehensive Benefit Program that includes medical insurance with a generous company contribution towards a high deductible plan, dental insurance, vision insurance, voluntary life and AD&D insurance, long-term disability, 401K with company matching, and paid parental leave.Industry leading staff to client ratios 1:6 average ratioPaid training program (Mastery) for years one through three of tenure.
