Anesthesiology Locums Physician - California, No Trauma Cases This anesthesiology locums assignment near Sacramento, California offers flexible shifts, routine procedures, and no trauma coverage required. Highlights Long-term locums opportunity beginning early 2026 Predictable case volume, no trauma cases Multiple shift options including 24h, 12h, and daytime blocks Practice Setting Community hospital near Sacramento Inpatient coverage with elective OR and OB anesthesia Support from anesthesia techs and nursing staff Independent practice model, no supervision required Schedule Must be flexible, open to all shift types Options include 24h (7a-7a), 12h, or standard day shifts 2 orientation shifts required before full schedule Consistent scheduling available once credentialed Cases and Procedures General, OB, Ortho, ENT, GI, Cardiology, Pediatrics, Nerve Blocks 4-6 elective OR cases per shift, 1-3 OB deliveries, occasional urgent care Bread-and-butter cases, no high acuity or trauma Requirements Board Certified Anesthesiologist Active California license required (IMLC accepted) ACLS, BLS, DEA certifications Travel Accommodations Client prefers local candidates within 3-4 hours of Davis, CA Travel covered per contracted terms if needed This role offers consistent work, flexible scheduling, and a supportive environment.
