Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Concord, CA Agency: AMN Healthcare Pay: $2,041 to $2,167 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/24/2026 About the Position Job Description & Requirements Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN) StartDate: 2/24/2026 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $2041.00 - $2167.00 MUST HAVE CURRENT CA LIC AT TIME OF SUBMISSION CVTCU RN needed. 13wks any color scrubs, EPIC is EMR 2 yrs exp is preferred. must have at least 16mths exp. Patients are admitted to CV Tele North for assessment, monitoring and care of post cardiac interventions and procedures such as PCI, AICD implants and post surgical complex esophageal thoracic surgeries. Additional associated diagnoses may include but are not limited to cardiac dysthymias, unstable angina, and myocardial infarction. General med/surg patients may also be placed on CV Tele North when bed space allows. Major treatment modalities include cardiac telemetry, single vasoactive infusions requiring minimal titration, antiarrhythmic drug administration, IV antiplatelet agents, temporary trans venous pacing when the patient has an underlying rhythm, tight blood glucose control managed with insulin infusions, chest tube management and pulse ox monitoring. The staffing ratio is 1:3 to 1:4 with some nursing assistant support. Must have NIHSS. BLS AND ACLS (AHA ONLY) Required Qualifications Registered Nurse, PCU Experience: 2 years Licenses: RN-CA(Copy needed) Certifications: BLS(Copy Needed); ACLS(Copy Needed); CERT-NIH Stroke Scale(Copy Needed) References: 1 Reference in the last 12 months of beds and trauma level noted after each facility listed in the work history PCU SCL within a year Facility Location Located in San Francisco’s East Bay, Concord’s thriving downtown centers on the sprawling Todos Santos Plaza, which covers an entire city block and is known for its farmers market, free summer concerts, and many restaurants.
