Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Variable shift schedule including 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM, 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM, and/or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Every other weekend requirement • Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends • 2-3 weekend shifts per month • 40-hour orientation required • No floating or call requirements • 3 years of nursing experience required • Previous charge experience preferred • Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Work in 28-room emergency department with 23 beds handling approximately 100 visits per day • Skills required include general emergency department care, stroke care, dysrhythmia management, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, procedural sedation, and trauma care • Required certifications: California RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be AHA or American Red Cross) • Epic charting system experience required • Must complete compliance requirements including lab work within 3-5 days of signing • 7-year work history verification required • 50-mile travel requirement from permanent residence Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive emergency department featuring 28 rooms and 23 beds, serving a high-volume patient population with approximately 100 visits daily.
