Job Description Clinical Duties Conduct physical exams and patient assessments Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries Manage chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma) Provide preventive care (immunizations, screenings, annual checkups) Order and interpret lab tests and diagnostic imaging Prescribe medications and monitor treatment plans Perform minor in-office procedures (suturing, biopsies, joint injections) Patient Care & Communication Develop long-term patient relationships Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention Counsel patients on lifestyle changes (nutrition, exercise, smoking cessation) Coordinate care with specialists when needed Full-time Monday through Friday schedule Practice autonomously with independent patient panel Minimum call requirements backed by well supported nurse advice line (3 weeks as primary, 3 weeks as back-up) per year Residency/fellowship stipend up to $2,000 per month and robust student loan repayment program up to $120,000 available for qualifying candidates Competitive compensation with a 2-year salary guarantee, comprehensive benefits package and 5-6 weeks per year of time away from practice for vacation/holiday/CME time Shareholder track opportunity starting in Year 3 with additional perks and annual bonuses worth more than $1M over the course of a full career Providence Medical Group physicians are eligible for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program Compensation is between $308,406 and $335,406 per year Earnings potential for seasoned clinicians exceeds $400k DirectShifts is an Equal Opportunity Employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
