Job Description:
Description At the direction of the medical provider,
demonstrates competency in administering medical procedures for the
treatment of work-related illness and injury. Administers
pre-placement and annual TB screenings. Draw blood for
pre-placement. Organize medical charts and lab results. Conduct
respirator fit testing. Demonstrates competency in performing
medical procedures in accordance with individual client protocols
for pre-placement and periodic medical evaluations. Performs
administrative tasks, in accordance with departmental procedures.
Provides high quality service to patients, client companies,
insurance carriers, contract staff, and Dameron Hospital. Must be
able to perform jobs in all patient care and operational areas
subject to reasonable accommodations. Train for drug screen and
breath alcohol collections for Occupational Medicine and the
Emergency Department staff. This is a non-union position.
Requirements Education: Current Medical Assistant Certification
from an accredited institution Experience: 1 year or more of
medical assistance preferably in a hospital setting
Licenses/Certificates: Current MA, BLS from American Heart
Association Dameron Hospital is committed to the safety and
