Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: Davis, CA Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,382 to $1,582 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Davis, CA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. Apply today and a recruiter will reach out with details. Minimum Requirements Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. Active California COTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred. If required by the client, BLS must be current prior to start. Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience treating geriatric patients and providing ADL retraining, restorative programs, and fall prevention interventions preferred. Ability to follow plan of care and document in electronic health record. Experience with facility EHR systems preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and demonstrate effective communication with patients and family members. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift Name: Days. Shift Schedule: 5 days per week. Float Requirement: Candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
