The UC Davis academic organization includes eight schools and
colleges with faculty located on campus, at the UC Davis Medical
Center, and other off-site locations. Academic appointments also
exist in the Library, University Extension and various organized
research units. The Office of the Vice Provost, Academic Affairs
has oversight of over $4 million from a variety of funding
Under direction of the Capital Resource Network (CRN) Director, the
Client Services Coordinator is responsible for providing the client
and client's family with transition services to the Capital Region
on behalf of UC Davis or referring to an external employer over the
course of the CRN service period. Provide administrative, project
and analytical support to CRN. The Client Services Coordinator
serves as point of contact for UC Davis and other participating
regional employer companies who comprise the employer consortium.
Consult with clients to provide needed resources and respond to a
wide variety of confidential requests/questions. Conduct research
and offer recommendations to clients about community integration
resources within the Capital Region. Develop customized community
integration connections for clients and research career action
plans tailored to meet varying needs. Create an outreach plan for
each client/family including high-level spouses in need of
volunteer board opportunities. Reach out to campus contacts and
external businesses for the purpose of facilitating client, spousal
and family engagement. Consult, track and manage high profile
and/or highly sensitive client progress and provide analysis,
statistical data, and trends on client activity and/or client
research. Respond to a wide variety of requests/questions from
clients including faculty, staff and the public on behalf of the
Capital Resource Network (CRN). Provide destination, integration,
and dual career services to the recruited employees and families of
UC Davis and other regional employers.
This position may be eligible for flexible and hybrid remote work
$23.66/hr. - $47.51/hr. (Subject to a budgeted salary maximum)

* Sit at computer for extended periods of time. Lift materials

* Work flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends
to meet operational needs. Occasional travel to off-campus events,
* Position requires frequent travel to different sites in the
Greater Sacramento Region.
* Must have reliable transportation, and be able to provide your
own transportation in order to travel to multiple locations

Additional Minimum License/Certification:
* Experience providing client services that involve creating
relationship networks, research, site visits, and communications to
client and/or client family as process moves forward.
* Experience working in a customer service driven business office
* Project management experience to track and manage client
information, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and follow
through to completion.
* Experience analyzing, researching, and interpreting data to
determine level and scope of impact and develop solutions.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) :
* Interpersonal and communication skills to create and maintain
professional working relationships; work with individuals from
diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives; to conduct in-person
and phone meetings with clients and service providers.
* Experience writing and proofreading to produce correspondence and
other materials that reflect professionalism and attention to
* Computer knowledge and experience using databases, spreadsheets
and word processing.
Additional Preferred License/Certification:
* Experience working with employment, selection and recruitment
* Bachelor degree in related area and/or equivalent
* Experience connecting clients to community points of interest,
groups and events of interest, and to local service providers.
* Experience coordinating and evaluating all aspects of
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) :
* In-depth knowledge of service providers in the Capital Region to
develop and manage community relationships to maintain network of
service providers and employers.
* Professional acumen to handle sensitive or difficult situations
with discretion, protecting the confidentiality of highly sensitive
information, using good judgment and discretion.
