Contract Details Position Type: Contract (Traveler) Start: As Soon As Possible (9 weeks) Schedule: Flexible — all shifts, all days of the week (including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed) Job Summary The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (Traveler) serves as the face of the organization to patients, delivering high-quality specimen collection services in a professional and compassionate manner. This role is responsible for accurate blood collection , specimen preparation, and maintaining patient trust while adhering to strict quality, safety, and confidentiality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and specimen collection , including pediatric and geriatric draws Prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures Verify patient identity, demographic information, and obtain patient signature post-venipuncture Maintain accurate records and documentation Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing Ensure a safe, professional, and compliant work environment Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and team members to promote confidence and trust Support daily operations accurately and on time under direction of the area supervisor Represent the organization positively to patients, clients, and the public Required Skills & Qualifications 2–3 years of phlebotomy experience required Proven ability to deliver error-free work in a fast-paced environment Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Superior customer focus and professional communication skills Ability to exercise good judgment and follow established procedures Reliable transportation (bus, Uber, or rideshare not considered reliable) Availability to work whenever scheduled; punctuality and full-shift attendance required Additional Requirements Flexibility to work multiple locations with minimal notice Willingness to comply with all company policies, including dress code and health & safety standards COVID-19 vaccination required Hospital site may require additional credentialing Training locations may vary based on trainer availability Benefits Medical Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan About the Company Our client is a leading provider of diagnostic information services , leveraging one of the world’s largest clinical laboratory databases to empower healthier lives.
