We are seeking a LSSoftware Engineer 1to join our Sacramento, CA team! Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Write code for both front-end and back-end that is reusable, maintainable, and extensible.
• Develop intuitive, user-friendly, visually appealing front-end interfaces.
• Implement server-side logic to integrate with front-end clients.
• Optimize applications for security, performance, and operation on various devices.
• Collaborate with other team members, end users and other stakeholders.
• Design and implement data storage solutions while ensuring data integrity and security.
• Maintain software applications and fix bugs.Requirements
  
  Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • 1 - 2 years of professional experienceTechnical Requirements:
    • Proficient understanding and experience with building web applications using PHP and Yii framework.
    • Extensive knowledge and experience with web markup languages including HTML5 and CSS3.
    • Advanced understanding and experience with front-end frameworks such as jQuery and Bootstrap.
    • High proficiency in relational database concepts.
    • Experience with JavaScript plotting libraries such as Google Charts and jqPlot.
    • Experience with Jira.
    • Understanding of code versioning tools such as git and SVN.
    • Understanding of web application security principles.
    • Familiarity with the Scrum process.
    • Ability to create and maintain software documentation.
    • Able to read, analyze, and interpret common technical data and industry documents.
    • Able to effectively present information to executive management, staff, and other outside agencies.
    • Ability to work in a rapid and iterative development environment.
    • Incredibly detail oriented.
    • Results driven and able to complete tasks on time with little supervision.
    • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Other miscellaneous qualities:
      • Experience with React
      • Experience with programming in C, C++ or C#.Compensation:
        
        $62,400 - $74,880 annual salary
        
        The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state's law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
