Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience with programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go. 5 years of experience in testing, and launching software products. 3 years of experience with software design and architecture. 2 years of experience with advertising or an advertising platform. Preferred qualifications: 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, with leading project teams and setting technical direction. Experience with full-stack development and technologies such as F1, SQL, Dart, Java, or Tangle. Experience with working in a matrixed organization involving cross-functional projects. Ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions while working with User Experience (UX) and product management. In this role, you will focus on scaling App Campaign business growth for Large Customer Sales (LCS) through features like Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) bidding and budget recommendations, while also driving activation and retention for Google Customer Solutions (GCS) customers. You will collaborate across product, business, and support roles to solve advertiser pain points. You will lead a team of engineers to drive business growth by scaling adoption of key features and executing initiatives.Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Lead a team of engineers and collaborate with partners to grow the App ads experience for App campaigns. Provide technical leadership on projects, managing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Drive feature adoption to deliver advertiser and business value. Coach a distributed team of engineers while facilitating alignment across teams on goals and outcomes. Design and enhance software solutions, working with product teams to understand and solve scaling bottlenecks.
