Litigation Associate Attorney

A well-established Northern California business law firm is seeking an attorney with two or more years of experience in litigation with some knowledge of California business and employment law. Candidates should have a high level of academic achievement, strong attention to detail, and exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal skills. They should possess good business and strategic judgement, and must have a desire to take on increased levels of responsibility while handling the day-to-day demands and workflow of working in a team-orientated environment.

The Litigation and Employment Practice Groups provides advice and counseling services to employers throughout Northern California and beyond with the goal of keeping our clients out of litigation. As an associate on the team, the chosen attorney can expect to counsel on a variety of business and employment issues such as hiring, firing, and discipline issues. They may also create handbooks, contracts, general employment policies, and assist with and conduct investigations.

Qualifications:

• JD from a top-tier ABA approved school and licensed in California
• Two to five years of litigation experience (preferably at a mid-size or large law firm)
• Experience practicing California employment law and business litigation is a plus
• Versatility, flexibility, attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, handle high-volume work load, and effectively prioritize matters Benefits:
