Job Description Job Description Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 Hourly Hiring Immediately Bankruptcy Case Analyst (Data & Case Processing) Equal Justice Law Group Jackson, CA | In-Person Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time Equal Justice Law Group is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bankruptcy Case Analyst to join our growing bankruptcy department. This role is ideal for someone who excels at data entry, accuracy, and case processing, and who is interested in building a career in the bankruptcy field. Bankruptcy experience is helpful but not requiredwe are willing to train the right candidate. Position Overview The Bankruptcy Case Analyst is responsible for entering, reviewing, and maintaining bankruptcy case data, assisting with document preparation and filing, and ensuring cases move efficiently and accurately through each stage of the bankruptcy process. Attention to detail, strong computer skills, and the ability to manage deadlines are critical for success in this role. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter and maintain bankruptcy case data in the firms case management system Review bankruptcy documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance Monitor deadlines and ensure timely case progression Assist with preparation and filing of bankruptcy-related documents Communicate with clients, creditors, attorneys, trustees, and court personnel as needed Learn and efficiently use bankruptcy software and internal systems Identify discrepancies or missing information and take corrective action Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and personal information Generate reports and provide internal case updates Required Qualifications Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy Excellent computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to quickly learn new software and systems Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience in a legal, financial, clerical, or administrative role Familiarity with bankruptcy filings or legal documentation (helpful but not required) Interest in growing within a bankruptcy-focused legal role Compensation & Benefits Up to $19.00 per hour Bonus opportunities Two (2) weeks paid vacation Paid holidays Schedule & Requirements 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday Overtime and weekends as needed Willingness to travel up to 25% (Required) In-person position Jackson, CA How to Apply: If you are a meticulous, organized individual with strong data entry skills and an interest in bankruptcy casework, we encourage you to apply.
