Position description

The Department of Chicana/o/x Studies at the University of California at Davis welcomes applications for part-time lecturer positions in the 2024-2025 academic year. Actual appointment percentage is based on course enrollment and number of courses assigned. Fall quarter (Sept 23 - Dec 13, 2024)

CHI 112: Globalization, Transnational Migration, & Chicana/o & Latina/o Communities

Winter quarter (Jan 3 - Mar 21, 2025)

CHI 30: United States Political Institutions & Chicanas/os

CHI 111: Chicanas/Mexicanas in Contemporary Society

CHI 181: Chicanas & Latinas in the U.S.: Historical Perspectives

Spring quarter (Mar 27 - Jun 12, 2025)

CHI 150: The Chicana & Chicano Movement

An M.A. degree in the field or related fields and previous experience teaching at the college/university level are required; a Ph.D. is preferred.

Preferred qualifications (other preferred, but not required, qualifications for the position)
Ph.D. in Chicana/o Studies or related field is preferred.
