Under general supervision, independently develop the quarterly
schedule of classes for publication and student registration.
Provide in-depth and wide-ranging complex academic scheduling
information, instruction and assistance to campus-wide academic
program staff. Serve as expert resource for program staff, faculty
and Deans in the areas of course development, class scheduling,
student registration and enrollment. Provide planning and
implementation of courses, final examinations, registration
restrictions and course materials and services fees. Generate
system reports and provide analytic reviews to aid programs with
appropriate course selection and enrollment targets. Configure
scheduling software to optimize space utilization. Provide
scheduling training and resource materials to campus-wide
department scheduling staff. Manage classrooms and schedule general
assignment classrooms for instruction and instruction-related
activities. Approve use of classrooms for non-instructional
activities. Interpret, apply and provide leadership to academic
programs with applicable Academic Senate, University and Registrar
course generation and space utilization policies.
